The MASK Consortium has set out on a cultural preservation journey, documenting Black heritage sites and objects with 3D Scanning Technology, and publicizing them via Google Earth, Street View and a myriad of other means to promote awareness, self-education. Monuments to African American cultural architects such as Sojourner Truth, Frederick Douglass, Harriet Tubman, Adam Clayton Powell, Jr., Malcom X, and Martin Luther King, Jr, Paul Robeson and more are being painstakingly located and and digitized.
