Moonmedicin LOST ART TOUR

Moonmedicin is a performance art soundsystem—a dynamic and evolving art installation that offers a unique experience with each engagement. Through a continuous series of salons, workshops, interventions, and respite research residencies, the group has challenged the landscape of music venues, galleries, museums, and university campuses with provocative experiences since 2007. Playing original compositions interspersed with re-imagined covers, the collective performs against a backdrop of curated sound effects and images of sci-fi, punk, sacred geometry, coded symbology, film noir, minstrels, world politics, and ceremonial dance.   Renowned conceptual visual artist Sanford Biggers, the creative director of the group, is joined by a rotating cast of musicians, creatives, and performance artists.
