NEA Conference on Racial & Social Justice

 

The NEA Conference on Racial and Social Justice aimed to ground the experiences of educators, students and communities at the end of a particularly tumultuous 18 months, with a celebration of culture, music and anti-racist ideas.

Broadcast live from the Eaton in Washington, DC, the event had the feel of a festival, with host & activist, Rich Medina, introducing various speakers and artists to both highlight racial justice ideas and actions, while also sharing the healing and power of music, art and storytelling. Notable Musicians, Artists and Presenters were: Sanford Biggers, MUMU Fresh, The Halluci Nation, Dr. Khalil Gibran Muhammad, Marka27.
